Description

Design and development of an IEDD / EOD tactical mobile unit composed of two vehicles equipped with Shelters (NATO II and S-788) inside which are housed, properly integrated and anchored, to move all the equipment and systems of use in the EOD and EOD operations


Selection and Integration of Jamming equipment in Shelter S-788 and Radioelectric Analysis of compatibility and efficiency.


The Command and Control Vehicle consists of a Sherlter S-788 mounted on a Hummer M1097 and equipped with the necessary means to allow the management and control of the operation, which are the following:




  • Shelter S-788 with lightweight shield A20 / FB4 and EMI / RFI protection




  • Working console with 1 operator station and computer equipment (rugged PC, UPS, scanner)




  • Radiocommunications Equipment U-VHF, GPS and Jamming Equipment (20-530Mhz / 470W)




  • Research equipment (Stethoscope, Rx, Endoscope, Thickness Gauge, HD Video Recording, Briefcase Evidence Collection, Explosive Analysis Kit)




  • Remote work equipment (EOD Robot Console, Hook & Line, manipulator)




  • Optical equipment (night vision, laser telemetry, goniometer, direct vision mirrors, light gun)


    The Support Vehicle consists of a Sherlter NATO II mounted on a tactical IVECO truck and is used for the transport of the equipment, the explosive and the auxiliary material that are the following:




  • NATOII Shelter with light armored shield A20/FB4, EMI/RFI protection and folding platform and lifting devicel




  • Detection Equipment (Large Loop, Underwater, Mine Detector and Magnetometer)




  • Deactivation Equipment (Disassembling Cannon, Disruptors, Disassembling Key, Precision Rifle Cal12.70, Non-Magnetic Tools)




  • Protective Equipment (Heavy and light EOD suits, Anti-blast blankets, Built-in Explosive armored depoit, Light anti-blast container)
